Joel brings a diverse professional background to his role in real estate, having transitioned from careers as a golf professional and construction project manager before entering the real estate industry in 2018. Since obtaining his real estate license, Joel has consistently ranked as a top-producing agent in The Triad.
Drawing from his experiences in both the golf and construction industries, Joel has cultivated a reputation for exceptional client care and customer service. His tenure in the country club setting established a high standard for personalized attention, while his expertise in construction has proven invaluable during home tours with clients. Joel's familial ties to the contracting industry further enrich his depth of knowledge and resources.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Joel prioritizes family time with his wife, two young children, and beloved Goldendoodle. An avid golfer, he relishes opportunities to hone his skills on the golf course when time allows.
Committed to community engagement, Joel serves as an active board member for local non-profit organizations, including The United Way of Davidson County and The Mental Health Association in Forsyth County. In 2021, he spearheaded the Thriving Triad program, which allocates a portion of each commission earned towards charitable initiatives selected by clients.

I’m Ashton. I’ve always enjoyed building things and helping people, which is what first led me to become a licensed general contractor and spend several years building homes from the ground up. Wanting to better understand the business side of things, I studied at UNCG’s Bryan School of Business and John Wesley University, where I learned how thoughtful planning and smart decision-making can make a real difference in people’s lives.
Today, I bring that same mindset into real estate. I focus on keeping things clear, honest, and pressure-free, helping people feel confident rather than overwhelmed. I care deeply about adding real value, whether that’s explaining a home in plain language or simply being someone people can trust.
Outside of work, I love staying active through running and working out, and I make time to give back by volunteering with HopeCity, helping prepare and provide meals for children in need across North Carolina. Community matters to me, and I believe success means very little if you’re not using it to lift others up.
